A Bit About Me

Since a very young age, I have been completely obsessed with animals. This passion led me to study Animal Management and Equine Studies in college. Following my studies, I began working in the pet insurance industry, starting with Agria Pet Insurance and The Kennel Club. Over the years, I have gained extensive knowledge and experience with almost every pet insurer on the market.

My love for pets has only grown stronger with time. As a child, I adored my grandparents' dog, and now I cherish my partner’s family dogs just as much. I have owned rabbits since I was young and currently have three. I also had my first pony share—a little pony named Becks—at a young age and now own a horse named Aladdin with my mum.

My journey into the pet insurance industry was unexpected. I was contacted by a careers agent for a role at Agria, which I hadn’t anticipated. During my school years, I did some casual work as an equestrian groom and thought I wouldn't merge my hobby with my career. I expected to work in a completely different industry, but I discovered a deep passion for pet insurance.

I have experienced the heartache of having poorly and, on more than one occasion, dying pets. Vet bills can be a significant burden during such times. While insurance isn't perfect, it has provided me with peace of mind during stressful periods. This is why I am dedicated to helping others find the right coverage for their needs, whether that means purchasing insurance or self-insuring.

When I took out my current insurance, I knew exactly what I was covered for because of my industry experience. Without that knowledge, I might not have understood the details as thoroughly. I have specific knowledge and tools that are not available on the open market, and I am eager to use these resources to help others navigate the tricky search for the best coverage.
